AISTE FURAJEVAITELithuanian Photographer and Artist based in New YorkAiste has always had a passion for photography and artwork... She noticed she was always picking up a camera and capturing moments wherever she went. To her photography is the beauty of life captured, it's the pause button of life.
_________________________________ Aiste found art as a hobby at a young age. She started attending an art academy in the Hamptons at the age of 12 where she perfected her artistic skills. Aiste has had her artwork displayed at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, Long Island. She gets her inspiration for her artwork from quotes, different destinations, trends and current life situations. She uses premium oil paints along with accessories like feathers, glass, newspapers, magazines, and photographs from her own personal collection. _________________________________ Photography and art is left for the occasional spare time. Currently, Aiste works in the sports industry at the National Basketball Players Association. In the past she has worked at private foundations, the Republic of Lithuania Consulate in New York and has organized numerous events with Diplomats and NBA players. She is also the founder of the international “Colorful Bandage” project with the Rimantas Kaukenas Charity Group, which was founded by basketball player Rimantas Kaukenas to help kids who are diagnosed with cancer in Lithuania. |
